The newly elected Senator from Georgia, Rev. Raphael Warnock, recently tweeted, "A vote is a prayer about the kind of world we want to live in." Millions of Americans voted for an America that wants to give equality to every person, taxes all fairly, uplifts the poor, opens gates of opportunity, stewards the planet, and embraces all faiths with dignity. Tragically, on January 6, forces of hate, deceit, and fascism tried to steal this. We won't forget the power-hungry President who incited this, the congressional leaders who aided this coup, or the minions who stormed the Congress. We will vote for a democracy that creates a better, stronger, and compassionate world. We will build back better.
